Another Teaser from V Magazine

In the last post, we all got our first glance at V Magazine’s ‘One Size Fits All’ editorial featuring Crystal Renn and Jacquelyn Jablonski. The debate over what message the magazine was trying to send was debated for days around the office. Now V Magazine has released a second editorial from the forthcoming issue entitled “Curves Ahead.” It features 5 plus models in everything from swimwear to lingerie to denim to a leotard. The editorial is filled with beautiful woman who have hips, thighs, a little belly pudge, and a muffin top.

Here are a few images from this spread:

It’s great to see women with some curves in a magazine for sure!  Fat rolls and all, they look gorgeous.  Of course, like any magazine spread, they’ve airbrushed the models extensively– there aren’t any double chins or any cellulite to be seen.  So does the beautifying of fat make it unrealistic?  Has the magazine gone any further towards helping real women love themselves and their bodies?  What do you think?
