If it is an insult, then count me among men who would be an insensitive dolt. Real women are just that - REAL. Real in admitting that their bodies are imperfect. Real in terms of not obsessing about body image. And real in accepting that their bodies are beautiful just the way they are.
To that end Dove does "Real" women a great injustice. Because "Real" women will eventually develop wrinkles. Real women who have really breastfed will have stretch marks and and everything else that comes with it. And there should be no shame in it. In fact their should be great pride in the beauty of ALL women.

As a man I look at women with a mix of feelings. At times reverent, sometimes confused, and often lustingly. But as a man I wish that women would ignore campaigns that seek to feed insecurities about just how amazing all women are. Skinny women, Plus-sized women, flat chested women, short, tall, brunette, blonde, redhead, white, black, brown, etc. You are all beautiful. ALL of you. Nobody should ever seek to pit some of you against others. You are ALL sensuous, feminine, strong, capable, intelligent, and vital. Any message short of that is disingenuous and wrong.

I'm guilty of the oversized t-shirt thing as well, but I honestly think most women choose this option from a desire for comfort rather than insecurity about their size. My thin friends prefer the "frumpy but comfy" look as well...unless they deliberately trying to look sexy for any reason.

You can also wear corsets and bustiers, just make sure they're pushing your boobs UP instead of just squishing them.

Seating... it's choreographed all the time for many reasons. I guess they want to make sure only attractive, slender, stylistic folk are in the prime seats. What a shame.

Oh, and we fat people are always told that we are at peril of death by the way we eat, seen to me that anorexia, does the same sooner.
I wish that this thin thin thin thinking could be over finally and people could be appreciated as they are.
